We are not your typical beauty school!

New classes starting July 13, 2010.....

St. Pierre Academy is a 52-week cosmetology course designed to produce superior hair designers who not only know basic procedures, but practice up-to-date cutting techniques and fashionable color services. This course is for only those serious about making their mark in the hair industry. The distinct advantage to this Academy is our environment. Our students do not learn on mannequins, they have the advantage of working with clients from day one. We have a class room environment on Mondays, but all your other time is spent in an active salon, truly hands on! We limit our enrollment to 6 students per semester for more individual attention.

Cynthia wishes to share her knowledge with her students, encouraging them in their cutting skills, and helping them establish a stable clientele while in training.  She loves teaching and building up the most talented and efficient hairstylists ever to emerge from the Roanoke Valley.

Tuition
Tuition of $11,000.00 covers the entire 52 weeks. Supplies, text book and workbook, hair salon equipment, and products, as well as intensive, hands-on cutting classes, in-salon training and internship are all included in this fee. Blades, clippers, and mannequins (required for state board exams) are at the student's expense.

Course Requirements
The study of Milady's Standard Textbook and Workbook of Cosmetology, and the completion of specific tasks necessary for state board preparation are requisite for graduating St. Pierre Academy. In addition, 1500 hours of practical, hands-on experience and the demonstration of all key cosmetology skills is required. We require all students to attend two hair shows before graduation.

Long-Term Financial Benefits
Most students will find that they achieve exceptional hair cutting and coloring skills within only a few months after beginning their training. They will also find out that it is certainly not unreasonable for a hair stylist with optimum skills, stylish techniques, and communication skills to make a financially rewarding salary while obtaining a professional status!
